FootJoy produces special Open shoe

Brand ambassadors will wear St Andrews-inspired MyJoys

Leading footwear brand FootJoy has unveiled a new line of MyJoys shoe specially designed in honour of the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews.

The market-leading FJ Icon has been transformed into four distinctive models that will be worn by some of the world's best golfers, and will feature the blue and white of Scotland's national flag in recognition of the tournament's host town, St Andrews.

Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson are just a few of the high-profile names that will be wearing the design during the opening day's play.

The MyJoys franchise was created to enable the personalisation of FootJoy shoes and has been a great success since its inception.

On this special occasion, FootJoy has specifically produced the MyJoys shoe in four variations and the players have themselves chosen their favourite. Westwood has chosen the asymmetric pattern, Ross Fisher will wear the contemporary sports saddle, while Karlsson and Stenson have both chosen the traditional saddle.
