How you score points...
Players are awarded points depending on how they finish in any event as indicated in the point system, illustrated below.
Only those players finishing inside the top 20 (and ties) on any scoring event's leaderboard win points. There are no points for players finishing 21st and above.
Double points will be awarded for players who finish in the points at the majors: Masters, US Open, Open, US PGA.
Players who qualify for either Team Europe or Team USA in the Ryder Cup will receive a 50-point bonus.
In the event of players tying for a position on a leaderboard, points will be totaled and split evenly between each player. For example, if three players tie for second, the second, third and fourth-place points available will be added together and split three ways; if two players tie for second, the points for second and third-place will be added and split two ways.
