ADIDAS GOLF

adidas Golf will showcase key pieces from its 2015 A/W apparel collection at this week’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Although the weather this week on the east coast is something like we would’ve expected at the Open Championship in July, adidas’ apparel combats all conditions allowing players to maximise performance all-year round.

With innovative fabrics and apparel technologies such as adidas Golf’s climaheat and climawarm, they will ensure golfers stay warm without adding bulk, while climaproof and climastorm ensure golfers stay dry if the weather across the three links courses of St Andrews (Old Course), Carnoustie and Kingsbarns decides to take a turn for the worse.

The featured apparel pieces, which will be worn by adidas Golf staff professionals and adidas supported celebrities, including Kevin Pietersen, Michael Vaughan and Sir Steve Redgrave, are the Gore-Tex Two-Layer Chest Pocket Jacket (bright blue) and the Climaheat Hybrid Half-Zip Shell layering piece (bold red/black).

adidas Golf’s Gore-Tex Two-Layer Chest Pocket Jacket offers maximum weather protection, making it ideal for braving the elements on the golf course in the winter. This jacket is fully seam-sealed and extremely breathable, boasting a waterproof guarantee for the life of the product.

Meanwhile, the Climaheat Hybrid Half-Zip Shell has been designed to lock in the heat providing ultimate insulation without the weight. Inspired by polar bear fur, the hollow fibres trap air, keeping warm air in while still letting moisture out.

adidas Golf winter range :: Pricing and availability

Available now, the Gore-Tex Chest Pocket Jacket has an RRP of £199.99, while thr Climaheat Hybrid Half-Zip has an RRP of £64.99. For more information, visit www.adidas.com or follow @adidasGolfEU on Twitter.
