Like Callaway clubs? Then you’re going to love these – the brand new Apex MB and UT irons.

Unveiled today, the clubs joins the Apex and Apex Pro in the brand’s impressive iron line-up.

The Apex MB (muscle back) has a classic look, which offers the precision of a blade with a sprinkling of playability. Created with input from some of Callaway’s top tour pros, it is the most premium forging that the company has produced and is made from 1020 Carbon steel for the softest feel.

A couple of stand-out features you ought to be aware of: the high performance, wide-spaced grooves, which are built to give you more control and consistent spin out of a variety of playing conditions, and an optimised sole camber, which has been put in to give you more playability than you would ever expect from a muscleback club.

Long story short, if you want irons that look like and perform like blades but offer some added workability, the Apex MB line is for you.

The Apex UT, meanwhile, is an exciting addition to the range. A hybrid replacement club, its has a traditional long iron shape and offers a level of performance and playability that go way beyond what you’d expect from a forged face cavity back design.

Essentially, these clubs – available in three loft options – are out to help you achieve four things: precision, versatility, better distance gapping and forgiveness. The latter is achieved in no small part through sole weighting, which lowers the centre of gravity, making the clubs easier to both hit and launch. The Forged Face Cup, meanwhile, helps create higher ball speeds all across the face to get the distance that you want.

If you’re looking for a high-tech, great-looking alternative to hybrids or long irons, look no further than the Apex UT irons.

But that’s enough from us. Let’s hand over to the Callaway team to explain more…
