FootJoy | 2016

FootJoy has unveiled the first of its new shoe designs for 2016, all of which combine style and performance.

As the No.1 shoe brand in golf, FootJoy says this new line-up is its strongest yet and boasts several innovations that further increase comfort, performance and stability.

The D.N.A. has arguably been one of the brand’s biggest success stories over the past two years, and it’s back again for 2016 with a re-designed model that will also be available on FJ’s MyJoys custom design service.

Improvements have also been made to the DryJoys Casual and DryJoys Tour models, while even more colours have been added to the highly successful HyperFlex range.

“With new upgrades to the increasingly-popular DryJoys range, golfers have the chance to combine ultimate style and unparalleled performance when taking to the course,” said Paul O’Hagan, FootJoy marketing executive.

“HyperFlex has also been a big hit since its launch earlier this year and now we’ve added even more colour combinations to reflect the latest fashion and athletic trends expected for 2016.

“Our R&D team has worked extremely hard to improve the performance of these models yet again and come up with some inspiring new designs that will be donned by many of the world’s best players.”

D.N.A.

Following on from the success of the original D.N.A. design, the 2016 version features a brand new upper design, which compliments the low profile, sleek yet stable nature of the shoe.

It features a new Tornado by Softspikes TourLock cleat system and is designed to keep golfers low to the ground for added stability. The new D.N.A. will also be available in a set of new colours with White/Black, Black, White/Platinum, White/Red and White/Blue all soon to be available.

RRP – £160/£180 (Boa)

HyperFlex

The most visually striking shoe in FootJoy’s line-up, the HyperFlex will enjoy a new lick of paint for 2016 with a number of new colourways added, including Navy/Electrical Blue, White/Lime, Black/Red, White/Metallic and Silver/Yellow.

DryJoys Casual

Perfect for wearing both on and off the course, the DryJoys Casual has been a firm favourite with many golfers and is currently worn by 2010 Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen and 23-time European Tour winner Lee Westwood

Updates for 2016 mean it continues to offer great comfort and stability, but with impressive new styling and fashionable colours including White/Navy, White/Red and, for the first time in DryJoys Casual, the Boa Closure System features in the White/Black colourway.

RRP – £135/£150 (Boa)

Available from January 2016

DryJoys Tour

Favoured by a number of tour players including current Open champion Zach Johnson, DryJoys Tour successfully blends traditional style with the PODS technology to ensure the perfect balance of flexibility and stability.

The new model offers golfers even more comfort than its predecessor thanks to softer ChromoSkin leather that has previously been used on the D.N.A model. It also features a new patterned, but classical styling.

RRP – £145

Available from January 2016
