Peter Millar deal for Scots star Ramsay

• Scots ace Ramsay gets new clothing deal ahead of 2015 season
• Aberdonian will wear Peter Millar gear over coming year
• Joins Snedeker, Haas and Grace as a brand ambassador

Two-time European Tour winner Richie Ramsay has signed a deal to wear Peter Millar clothing over the course of the coming season.

Ramsay, who won the US Amateur Championship in 2006 and has since gone on to secure European Tour wins at the South African Open and Omega European Masters, is going into his seventh consecutive year on the European Tour.

He will do so will his tail up, too, following an impressive 2014, where he bounced back from injury to post six top ten finishes, including runner-up spots at both the NH Collection Open and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

The 31-year-old Aberdonian joins US trio Brandt Snedeker, Bill Hass and Harris English, as well South Africans Branden Grace, Richard Sterne and George Coetzee, in wearing Peter Millar clothing.

“After a great finish to my 2014 season, I am undeniably excited about getting back into action in the Middle East and even more so now that I will be wearing Peter Millar clothing,” said Ramsay.

“I am a huge fan of the traditional style of both their on and off course apparel, as well as the importance that they place on top-class performance and quality. I am really looking forward to having them support me while I am out on tour chasing my goals.”
