• Srixon releases tenth generation of Soft Feel range
• Feel, spin and accuracy have all been improved

Range features Soft Feel and Soft Feel Lady balls

Srixon Soft Feel balls

Just a matter of weeks after Srixon claimed the No.1 two-piece golf ball title for the tenth year running, it has launched its newest two-piece designs through the Srixon Soft Feel range.

The Srixon Soft Feel range once again offers different versions for men and women with the brand saying players with mid to low swing speeds will benefit most from using them.

The Srixon Soft Feel ball is now in its tenth generation and Srixon says both new designs have been improved in a number of areas, including feel, greenside spin, distance and accuracy from tee to green. The Srixon Soft Feel Lady ball differs by offering a slightly higher launch.

The big advances behind the new Soft Feel range can be found in the three key technologies.

Srixon has been able to lower the compression hugely thanks to the improved Energetic Gradient Growth (E.G.G.) core it has installed. The compression is where the soft feel comes from and Srixon has been able to make it 12 points softer than the previous generation, resulting in more feel from all distances.

More greenside spin comes from the ionomer cover. It has been made 11% thinner and 5% softer giving extra soft feel on pitches, chips and putts.

The last of the three key technologies can be found in the 324 Speed Dimple pattern. It acts to reduce the drag on the ball, giving a more penetrating ball flight and ensuring you get the most possible distance out of your shot.
