Under Armour | A/W ’15

Top winter performance clothing brand Under Armour has announced a new three-tiered index designed to help golfers understand the differing levels of protection offered by its Storm technology and layer up appropriately.

Named Storm 1, 2 and 3, it has been designed to help golfers choose exactly the right gear to help them stay warm and dry on the course this winter.

Under Armour Storm 1

The first tier – Storm 1 – features clothing that has been treated with Under Armour’s DWR finish to make it water resistant and perfectly suitable for use during light rain showers.

Products included in that category include UA Elemental Golf Pant (£70), UA Tips Vest (£85) and Jacket (£100), UA Flagstick Storm Fleece ¼ Zip (£50) and the UA Storm Links ¼ Zip (£55).

Under Armour Storm 2

Storm 2 takes it up a level with highly water-resistant and windproof clothing that features three-layer bonded fabrucs and windproof materials to shield you against the elements out on the course.

Products that fit into this category include UA Elemental ½ Zip (£75) and UA Elemental Jacket (£85).

Under Armour Storm 3

Storm 3 features all of the tech Under Armour has to offer to keep you dry and warm. All the clothing in this category is fully waterproof and windproof and can be worn in the wettest conditions while playing golf.

The UA Storm Dry Movement Jacket (£100), UA Storm Dry Movement ½ Sleeve (£75) , pictured, and UA Storm Dry Movement Pant (£70) all fall under the Storm 3 header.
