Brandel Chamblee isn’t afraid to speak his mind – just ask Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.
Both have incurred the wrath of the former PGA Tour player – now Golf Channel analyst – in recent times and last night, he went on a LONG Twitter rant about the current state of the game of golf.
Triggered by this Washington Post article, which the headline claimed ‘no one plays golf anymore’, Chamblee started by quote tweeting and then went on, and on, and on. Here is the full list of tweets below.

Good team work. Watch a player rehearse a backswing he knew when he was ten. Think about things he didn't think about even when he was ten.

All of this is called a process.Forget about playing, golf takes a long time TO WATCH Then watch the plyr change clubs from ones that worked

To newer ones that are twenty yards longer ( yardage that won't be found In statistics) that make obsolete the clubs they played last year.
— brandel chamblee (@chambleebrandel) August 7, 2016
And then the cost…
Nobody wants to be told what they just spent $600 on is obsolete. Nobody wants to pay 150$ for a lesson. Nobody wants to pay 200$ for a 5

And the final tweet? Well, just look at that hashtag – ‘a game I no longer recognise’…
Because players will stick. #okayimdonerantingaboutagameinolongerrecognize#bringbackthegolfpro #andgethimontherange #becausethatisgold
