Bubba Watson calls out Fowler heckler

It’s no secret that Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler are good buddies.

From starring as two-quarters of the Golf Boys, to donning kilts together in the wake of USA’s Ryder Cup defeat at Gleneagles, it’s fair to say the two are close.

And their friendship was highlighted yet again during the first round of the Memorial Tournament, after Rickie Fowler was heckled for missing a birdie putt on the 18th.

Fowler glared into the galleries after the miss before Bubba stepped in. “Who said it?” he asked the spectators. After a few seconds and after no response, he continued: “Oh, you’re tough now aren’t you?”

Moral of the story: Don’t mess with Bubba.
