We’ve got Disc golf, Footgolf and a whole load of other weird and wonderful forms of our beautiful game. But are you ready for the next one?
Yes, it’s RugbyGolf. Born in France in February this year, unsurprisingly, it’s a hybrid of rugby and golf, with 15 core rules of how to play.
Ultimately, it’s pretty similar to Footgolf. You play with a rugby ball with either your feet or hands from tee to flagstick, with a reasonably large target around the flag to dunk the ball in.
According to founders, the Association Française de RugbyGolf, the game will ‘advance the kicking game’ of rugby with it being more technical but, as yet, it hasn’t made its way over to British shores. Do you think it could? And would you be interested in playing it?
