• Green fees soar even higher at Pebble Beach Golf Links
• It’ll now cost more than $500 to play the famed links
• And that doesn’t include an $80 caddie fee!
Pebble Beach, one of world golf’s most expensive tee times, has just got even more expensive.
According to Golf Advisor, it will now cost more than $500 to play the famed links, rising from $495 to $525 , which is reportedly the first increase in eight years.
The price hike comes in correspondence with October and November being the California resort’s two busiest months, with no decision yet made as to what the rates will be after that time.
And, what’s more, that doesn’t even include an, albeit optional, $80 caddie fee, which would bump the total up to $605 .

As a general policy, you must stay at Pebble Beach Resort to reserve tee times in advance, but you can get a tee time at Pebble Beach Golf Links 24 hours in advance if they are available.
Still though, some would argue that it’s well and truly worth the outlay. After all, just hear what these greats of the game had to say about the place.
“I’ve loved this course from the first time I saw it” – Jack Nicklaus
“If I had only one more round to play, I would choose to play it at Pebble Beach,” said 18-time major winner Jack Nicklaus. “I’ve loved this course from the first time I saw it. It’s possibly the best in the world. It’s a wonderful thinking-man’s golf course and that’s why it’s such a great US Open venue.”
Eight-time major winner Tom Watson said: “Ask any golfer around the world to name a golf course in the United States, and Pebble Beach will be the first thing they say.”
While four-time major winner Ernie Els said: “I don’t think you can get a better venue any place in the world.”
