The Ryder Cup action may not get underway until later today, but the 41st edition of the match was officially declared open at last night’s opening ceremony.
Ryder Cup legends Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin were on-stage paying tribute to Arnold Palmer and reminiscing the famous ‘Concession’ at the 1969 Ryder Cup – which has left the pair lifelong friends – before both captains delivered their speeches and introduced their teams.
It finished with Davis Love III and Darren Clarke naming their pairings for the opening foursomes session but, enough of that, lets see some of the best pictures from the opening ceremony.
