Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes. It must be tough for an 85-year-old to sink a hole-in-one.
Then again, not all 85-year-olds are ex-James Bond, Sean Connery. This was supposedly his fifth!
Just heard from Chris Goodwin, co-founder of @redtailgc, that Sean Connery, 85, aced the 2nd at Lyford Cay today. Chris was in the foursome

There’s a bit of a football theme to this week’s Social Eyes. Outgoing Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini was spotted at Eyemouth Golf Club on Tuesday…
And as for Joey Barton, a rumoured summer signing for Rangers, he was at Loch Lomond playing a round with Marc Warren and Kenny Miller.

Turns out that as well as basketball, American football and baseball, Jordan Spieth also loves his football.
And he knows his stuff a wee bit, too. His brother Steven was watching sister Ellie playing and after she scored a goal, likened the finish to Zlatan . Spieth, though, disagreed.

Gary Player impressed in his visit to Celtic Park on Monday – and he also popped by at Haggs Castle to hand out some tips. He was asked who has the best golf swing. His answer: world No.1 Jason Day.
In case you weren’t aware, Danny Lee and Rickie Fowler have been involved in an ongoing prank war. The latest edition: Fowler filled Lee’s shoes with shaving cream.

And finally…
Jason Day has everything going for him at the moment – apart from one thing: his beard. That’s GQ magazine’s take anyway.
An article reads: “Put bluntly, Day’s beard is a mess. It’s not that thick to begin with and kinda patchy around his cheeks. But that stuff can be handled with the right trimmer. Where Day’s beard gets really unkempt is in the dreaded neckbeard area. In fact, there’s more hair on his neck than on his face, which is a serious indicator of a problem.”
Looks like you need to get it sorted, Jason!
