Social Eyes Garcia’s new girlfriend, Bjorn ridiculed

Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes. We’ll start with the Spanish Open at Valderrama, which threw up a load of talking points.

First of all, did host Sergio Garcia use the tournament to go public with a new girlfriend, Golf Channel presenter Angela Akins?

While Garcia took centre stage en route to his third-placed finish, he had a very famous fan watching on from the galleries. None other than the world’s most expensive footballer, Gareth Bale.

Valderrama was brutally tough for scoring last week, with Andrew Johnston winning on one-over-par, and players were keen to point that out on Twitter.
