Hospitality packages for the 145th Open Championship at Royal Troon next year have gone on sale at early season prices.

The championship, from July 10-17 next year, will be taking place at the Ayrshire venue for the first time since 2004 – won by American Todd Hamilton in a play-off against Ernie Els – and early season inclusive hospitality pricing extends to January 31, 2016.

The Open Hospitality Programme sales director, Brett Tonkyn, said: “The Open is a unique event in the British sporting calendar and in a full day out, there is ample opportunity to enjoy world class sport in a business friendly environment.

It includes a final practice day package at £199 per person and championship day packages ranging from £325 to £499 per person (quoted prices exclude VAT).

“Hospitality at the Open can be tailored to meet individual requirements and major championship golf has a proven track record in helping businesses large and small to strengthen key customer relationships.”

More than 8,400 hospitality inclusive packages were sold across practice and championship days at St Andrews through The Open Hospitality Programme, the only on-course provider.

Tickets for the Greenside Club overlooking the 18th green and reserved grandstand seating at the first and 17th holes were sold out in advance and hospitality packages for the Road Hole Restaurant and the Champions Club pavilion were all fully booked up months before the championship.
