A short-sleeved Ping Collection Jingle Polo Top is on its way to you!

Dear Bunkered...

Given the success of the Tour Championship and the massive interest shown in it by players, media and spectators alike, I believe that PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem can consider himself completely vindicated in creating the FedEx Cup. I admit to having been extremely sceptical of it when it was first announced but it did deliver terrific entertainment.

One thing will, however, need to change and that the doling out of the winner’s prize-pot. While $10million of a retirement fund might sound like a lot, it’s pittance to the players on the tour, particularly Tiger Woods. Instead, perhaps Mr Finchem could set up a skins-style $10million contest. That would be far more enjoyable for everyone, I feel.

Ruaridh Campbell, Kilmarnock

EDITOR’S REPLY: A shoot-out for a prize pot would certainly make The FedEx Cup more interesting next year.
