3. 1960 US Open win
Just two months after a second Masters title, Palmer staged the greatest comeback in US Open history, erasing a seven-stroke deficit during the final round to win his only US Open title. Palmer shot a final round 65 with six birdies in his first seven holes to win by two strokes. The runner-up? An amateur who went by the name of Jack Nicklaus.
