The R&A Clubhouse, overlooking the first and 18th holes of the Old Course at St Andrews, dates back to 1853 when the first foundation stone was laid. It is now one of the most iconic buildings in golf.

Loch Lomond Whiskies was announced as the Official Spirit of The Open at a presentation at the R&A Clubhouse earlier this year. Since then, more than 15,000 golf fans enjoyed a dram at Carnoustie during The Open and at Royal Lytham St Anne’s at the Women’s British Open.

Loch Lomond Whiskies also created an Open Special Edition single malt to celebrate golf’s original championship. The complex single malt has vibrant fruity notes of peach and pear which are enhanced by using specially selected spirit distilled from wine yeast fermentations.
