Every golfer will have a list of courses they want to play in their lifetime. Every golfer will also have a list of events and courses they want to see in their lifetime.

Now is your chance to see one of golf’s four biggest tournaments up close and personal as it heads to Chambers Bay, Tacoma this year.

Having already hosted the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championships, it definitely has championship pedigree and the spectacular beauty of the snow-capped Olympic Mountains surrounds the Robert Trent Jones II design.

Its links-style is set to welcome the world’s best golfers in June and you could be one of the estimated 235,000 people to attend the competition.

Built as a unique tribute to links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, its layout runs along the coast with some stunning scenery greeting players along many of the holes.

It’s one for the purists, too, with it strictly a walking-only course.

Just a 20-minute drive from Tacoma and about an hour from Seattle, you can already plan your stay and the trip of a lifetime to watch the U.S. Open.

Alternatively, you can take full advantage of the fantastic stay and play packages on offer that will let you see what the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy will face when they arrive at the Washington State venue.
