STENA LINE | CLUB CHOICE IRELAND

Stena Line, one of the world’s largest ferry operators, is offering you the chance to head to Ireland to play in two fantastic competitions.

In partnership with Club Choice Ireland, the leading provider of golfing holidays to British golfers in the east and south-east of Ireland, you can play two of the country’s finest inland courses.

The Stena Line Senior Mixed Pairs takes place in early April 2017 and included on the itinerary is the spectacular Jack Nicklaus-designed Killeen Castle estate (below).

But that isn’t the only event taking place. The following month, the luxurious five-star Mount Juliet (below) – also a Jack Nicklaus-designed course and host of the 2004 WGC-American Express Championship – will host the Stena Line Senior Gents Open.

Packages for each event costs £310 per person (based on four travelling per car) and include accommodation, three rounds of golf, prizes, a presentation dinner and return ferry.

“Golfers have the added benefit of being able to fill the car with their own golf clubs” – Ian Baillie

Stena Line and Club Choice Ireland first partnered in 2013 and have gone on to generate €5m for the Irish tourism and hospitality sector.

Through its network of more than 40 golf courses, hotels and resorts, Club Choice Ireland creates bespoke golfing holidays.

And, with Stena Line operating up to 30 daily sailings to and from Holyhead, Liverpool, Fishguard and Cairnryan, the two companies are perfectly placed to offer a comprehensive golfing experience to the British golfer.

“Our alliance with Club Choice Ireland is a great fit with our customers who are looking to access some of Ireland’s leading golf resorts,” said Ian Baillie, Stena Line Product Sales Manager UK & Ireland.

“Golfers have the added benefit of being able to fill the car with their own golf clubs and equipment with no additional baggage charges, an important consideration especially for travelling groups.”
