Golf shoes are an important investment. If you’re out on the course, then you need something that is going to do a lot of things well. Of course, they can also be expensive, so if you can get a good pair for a good price, it's a bonus. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of cheap golf shoes, in our best budget golf shoes of 2024 list.

When buying golf shoes, lots of factors need to be considered. Looks are important, as you don’t want the shoes to detract from the rest of your outfit. Comfort is also a big consideration. The last thing you want is to be wearing a shoe that make your feet ache.

Also, you want the shoes to help your golf game. Having solid levels of traction make a big difference, especially if you’re going to be playing in poor conditions. That goes hand in hand with shoes that are stable, so you’re not losing balance during your swing.

Of course, you’re here because you want shoes that do a bit of all of that, but within a good price range. While we can’t promise all these shoes are cheap, they are some of the best value golf shoes on the market right now.

Let’s take a look at the best budget golf shoes of 2024.

PROS

  • Supreme comfort levels
  • Lightweight but still high quality
  • They look awesome, with three colour options

CONS

  • Some will want spikes, which Adidas has in other models

You’re not going to find many lists of footwear that don’t include Adidas, so it’s no surprise to see them here. Value for money golf shoes is certainly something they do well in, with the Adidas S2G shoes coming in at less than £100. Despite being great value, they’re also top performers.

These shoes are inspired by the hugely successful line of running shoes from the footwear giants, making them lightweight. The waterproof upper of these shoes looks great, and along with the protective toe cap, they are super durable on the course. These also feature the Adidas Lightstrike Midsole, which provides great levels of comfort, along with solid stability.

Overall, these shoes are a bargain. For just £90 you’re going to pick up shoes that are lightweight and comfortable, as well as looking very sporty.

  • Foam midsole delivers nice comfort straight out of the box
  • Waterproof properties make them durable

CONS

  • Some will prefer more modern styling

You probably know them for their incredible clubs, but Callaway also make some great quality golf shoes, and none are better value than their Mission shoes.

The Callaway Mission is a classically styled golf shoe that, at under £100, is solid value. These are made with Callaway’s Opti Soft Foam Midsole, which, as the name suggests, gives you immediate comfort when you slip your foot into these. Of course, there’s more than just comfort to these, as they also give great traction. The carefully positioned power cleats on the bottom of these shoes ensure your feet are planted for a powerful swing.

These are a stylish option and if you’re someone who wants spiked performance in your golf shoes, then these will go down nicely.

PROS

These golf shoes are perfect for players who want something trainer like on their feet. Ideal for summer golf, these are lightweight, with a mesh upper providing all day comfort and breathability. While these are light, they’ve also got solid support, thanks to the EVA Midsole, which gives increased underfoot cushioning, enhanced comfort and exceptional stability.

Viktor Hovland's golf shoes are available for £80. What more is there to say?

PROS

  • Great looks, with several colours available
  • Out of the box comfort
  • Impressive levels of traction for a spikeless golf shoe

CONS

  • Hard to fault especially at this price point
Available for £80 from Puma

We all know how impressive Puma apparel is. That’s no different in their footwear. In particular, the Ignite Elevate shoes are a great option and clearly perform well, as Norwegian star Viktor Hovland wears them in competition.

When you put these on your feet, you’ll see why they’re so popular. They’re supremely comfortable, with Puma’s Ignitefoam giving great underfoot response, as well as out of the box comfort that means you can take these straight to the course. Although these are spikeless, the studs on the bottom mean these still perform well. Meanwhile, the Exoshell upper provides lightweight waterproofing on these stylish shoes.

You might not consider these to be budget shoes, as they’re worn on the PGA Tour, but they won’t break the bank. Certainly one of the best pairs of budget golf shoes of 2024.

Stuburt Ace Casual
Stuburt Ace Casual
Spikeless golf shoes from an apparel brand that is on the up

PROS

  • Can certainly be worn away from the golf course
  • Outsole performs relatively well in bad conditions
  • Shop around and you'll get these at a great price

CONS

  • You'll find more traction and style in other pairs
Available for £79.99 from Stuburt

A brand that more than hold their own in both the apparel and the shoe world, the Stuburt Ace Casual spikeless shoes are budget friendly and very comfortable, too.

These are a spikeless pair of shoes but by no means are they lacking in stability. Since they’re spikeless, it means you’ll be able to wear these on your way to and on your way back from the golf course, which is a big positive. Despite being nice and lightweight, there is no question that these shoes are going to handle the elements pretty well, thanks to the dual outsole.

These are certainly budget friendly and, for someone who wants something different from some of the bigger brands, they are ideal.

Credit: Under Armour
Under Armour charged draw golf shoes
Under Armour Charged Draw 2
Impressive and sporty golf shoes that are full of technology

PROS

  • Great spikes on the outsole
  • Cushioned midsole gives good levels of comfort
  • Ideal for wearing in the summer

CONS

  • We prefer the Drive Pro shoes from Under Armour, but they're a little bit more expensive
Available for £95 from Under Armour

Under Armour make some of the best golf shoes on the market, so much so that our Gear Editor, James Tait, uses them during his World Long Drive competitions. He wears the Drive Pro models and while they’re slightly out of the price range for this buying guide, you can still get good performance from the Charged Draw 2 shoes for a great price.

These feature a durable and flexible TPU outsole, which makes them ideal for playing in poor conditions. They also come with impressive rotational resistance spikes, which will keep your feet planted throughout the swing, giving you the best possible traction. These are also impressive in the comfort department, with Under Armour’s Ortholite sockliner, which gives comfort and breathability on the course.

A sporty looking pair of golf shoes that will certainly help your game, without spending too much cash.
