If you’re in the market for a new pair of golf shoes in 2024, it can be hard to know where to start looking.

There’s never been a time where there are so many brands and styles to choose from in the golf shoe market.

Whether you’re looking for classic designed spiked shoes or more relaxed trainer style shoes, you’ll be catered for.

One brand who certainly cover a wide base of golf shoes is Ecco. They are known for making high quality and comfortable footwear that extends outside of just golf shoes.

They’ve got plenty of choice and it’s no surprise that many tour pros wear their shoes, as they are excellent quality. Players like Lydia Ko and Erik van Rooyen trust Ecco on the course, and their shoes look great in the process.

If you want to get a pair for yourself then you’re in the right place. We’ve compiled the best Ecco golf shoes you can buy in 2024.

Ecco Biom C4
Ecco Biom C4
Premium quality spikeless shoes with great levels of breathability

PROS

  • Sporty and stylish design
  • Spikeless but still deliver solid stability
  • Gore-Tex technology to keep your feet dry on the course

CONS

  • Some will prefer the traction from spiked models
Available from £200 from Ecco

We’re starting with a classic in the Ecco Biom C4. These are a premium trainer style shoe from Ecco, which are designed to give you incredible levels of comfort and breathability on the course.

The main technology you need to be aware of in these shoes is the Gore-Tex surround construction, which will keep your feet dry in even the worst conditions. Despite being spikeless, you can be sure these will give you great traction on the ground, thanks to the Ecco Mountain Grip outsole, which certainly gives you traction on the course. Of course, without spikes, you’ll be able to wear these in the clubhouse too, another benefit to them.

Overall, these are an excellent option for the serious golfer who wants a spikeless shoe that performs well in any conditions.

Ecco Biom G5
Ecco Biom G5
A different style from Ecco that is designed for fantastic stability in all weather

PROS

  • Spiked design will give you great traction
  • Supremely waterproof
  • Lightweight adds to the comfort of these

CONS

  • The style might not be for everyone
Available for £230 from Ecco

These are a slightly different design from Ecco, with a futuristic look to an excellent pair of golf shoes. The G5 is a spiked shoe from Ecco, so you’re going to get that extra layer of traction and confidence in your stance on the course.

Again, this is a shoe that is fitted with Gore-Tex, allowing the shoes to be fully waterproof without restricting movement or breathability in your shoes. This shoe has been engineered to include Zarma-spikes, which, combined with hybrid grooves, create incredible traction underfoot. If you’re someone who wants the ultimate in security on your shoes then this will be a big positive.

Packed with technology, these are an excellent option from Ecco which cater to golfers who want impressive spiked technology.

Ecco Biom H4
Ecco Biom H4
Golf shoes that could definitely pass as trainers, that still perform very nicely

PROS

  • Great looking shoes in our opinion
  • Can absolutely be worn on and off the golf course
  • Fluidform technology makes these very comfortable

CONS

  • Again, some will prefer spikes, but that's not what these are about
Available for £170 from Ecco

A great looking pair of spikeless shoes from Ecco that offer a sporty and fresh look. Still, they don’t compromise on their impressive performance.

The Ecco Biom H4 is a spikeless golf shoe that, as we’re accustomed to with Ecco, is fitted with Gore-Tex technology to keep you dry. We’re big fans of the Natural Motion Technology that you’ll find in the Biom H4 shoes, which really make these comfortable on and off the course. These are also equipped with the Ecco Mountain Grip outsole, so you can be sure that the spikeless sole will provide stability.

We love the way these shoes look on the course. Stylish and impressive in performance, we are big fans of these.

Ecco Classic Hybrid
Ecco Classic Hybrid
These certainly don't look like your typical Ecco shoes, but they are stunning

PROS

  • Just look at them!
  • Build quality and attention to detail is great
  • The outsole is designed to give great traction

CONS

  • Probably not the shoes you want for muddy conditions if you get the white colourway
Available for £180 from Ecco

Well, these are certainly a different style to the previous shoes in this buying guide, but we love the look of the Ecco Classic Hybrid shoe. They perform well, too.

A much more classic aesthetic comes with these shoes, but they still feature the modern technology we would expect from Ecco products. A premium leather look and feel is coupled with the FluidForm Direct Comfort Technology on the sole of the shoe, which delivers impressive comfort and grip on the course.

It’s a deviation from what we might expect from Ecco, but these are excellent shoes that really do look the part on the course.

Ecco LT1 golf shoes
Ecco LT1
A new and exciting addition to the Ecco line-up, and they are impressive

PROS

  • Incredibly comfortable
  • Ultra soft materials make these easy to walk in
  • Outsole delivers fantastic traction

CONS

  • Difficult to find much to fault with these
Available for £170 from Ecco

A new addition to the line-up for 2024 from Ecco, the LT1 is a top-notch shoe from Ecco. This is a spikeless, low-profile shoe that is made with extreme comfort and performance in mind.

The Ecco LT1 is a very lightweight shoe, making it ideal for the summer conditions when you want something breathable on the course. These are also exceptionally comfortable, with Ecco LYTR technology giving an advanced bounce and rebound foam, for great comfort on your feet. These aren’t just comfortable however, they do provide great performance on the course. The Ecco Dynamic Traction System offers multi directional traction, so you can swing as hard as you like and keep your stability.

This is a tremendous spikeless shoe and definitely one of the best options for that category in 2024. Looks great, is comfortable and performs well on the course.

Ecco 720 street model
Ecco 720 Street Model
Golf shoes that can be worn on the course, or in the restaurant

PROS

  • Gore-Tex surround for waterproof protection and breathability
  • Midsole channels that enable air ventilation, so these are comfortable all day and all night
  • E-DTS Twist outsole added for multi-directional traction
  • Great value for money

CONS

  • The style might not be for everyone, but we love it
Available for £160 from Ecco

A new addition to the Ecco range for 2024, the 720 Street Model is designed to really bridge the gap between golf shoes and casual street shoes. If that’s something that you value, then these will be right up your street.

Despite being designed with the city in mind, there’s also plenty of typical Ecco technology that will help you play your best. The E-DTS Twist Outsole and the Gore-Tex surround will help to protect you from the elements. There’s also the midsole channels, which are there to boost ventilation, making these suitable for wearing all day and all night.

A fantastic pair of shoes that can be worn on and off the golf course, and will look the part in the process.
