Gear | Bushnell

Bushnell has announced two brand new rangefinders aimed at giving you the quick and accurate yardages on the course.

As makers of the No.1 laser rangefinder on the PGA Tour and European Tour, Bushnell has some new additions for everyone to get excited about with the introduction of the Tour V4 and Tour V4 Slope editions.

Not only are both new laser rangefinders faster than the old Tour V3 models, they are also 30% smaller and easier to use on the golf course.

The difference between the slope and non-slope versions is Bushnell’s tour-validated Slope Technology. It gives accurate actual playing yardages that take elevation changes into account. The slope version, however, cannot be used in competition with slope mode turned on.

Scott Peterson, senior product manager at Bushnell, explained: “In the past, amateurs have been reluctant to purchase rangefinders with Slope Technology as it was illegal to use them in tournaments. However, with the new R&A and USGA rule change, we were able to introduce the ability for golfers to turn the slope mode off as required.”

Bushnell expects that to make the product more appealing to a wider audience, as it works alongside some proven old technologies still in there, too. Both models feature Pinseeker with JOLT technology, which confirms when your laser finds the target.

neo iON - Black_Electric Green

Alongside the Tour V4 laser rangefinder, Bushnell says it has ‘made distances simple’ with its new neo iON GPS watch.

The lightest and thinnest golf watch the brand has ever produced, the brand says it offers golfers a fashionable device that can be worn on and off the course.

With no membership fees required, the watch comes preloaded with more than 35,000 courses in over 30 countries and will instantly recognise the course once you step onto the first tee.

What’s more, it also has auto hole advance, meaning you don’t have to remember to change it at all.

Petersen added: “With the popularity of wearable technology on the golf course, we created the fashion-forward, user-friendly neo iON with improved technologies providing golfers the ability to enhance their game.”
