Cam Smith is one of golf’s biggest characters, as well as being one of its best talents. But, what clubs does Cam Smith use?
The Australian famously picked up the Claret Jug at The 150th Open in St Andrews, holding off his nearest challengers, Cameron Young and Rory McIlory.
That was before the Champion Golfer of the Year made a switch to play on the LIV Golf League, where he’s now captain of Ripper GC.
When it comes to equipment, Smith has a bag that golf purists will love. His irons are pretty special, but there’s one club in particular that catches the eye. No club in his bag is more recognisable than his putter, which just happens to help him with the strongest part of his game.
That putter is a Scotty Cameron 009 prototype, which has been in Smith’s bag since 2021. While other golfers are starting to turn to mallet putters and other technology, Smith continues with a classic shape that clearly fits his eye.
Further up the bag, Smith has several brands in the bag. His 3-wood is a super forgiving option from Ping, the G430 Max, while he also has two Mizuno driving irons in the bag.
You might also know Smith for his pretty distinctive apparel. The Australian wears Penguin gear, which we are big fans of.
Here’s the full what’s in the bag for Cameron Smith.
