Fresh off the production line, take a look at the brand-new range of Callaway CB wedges.

Designed with versatility and forgiveness in mind, Callaway’s latest offering is aimed at golfers looking for a wedge that will give them maximum confidence in their short game.

• WITB: Ruoning Yin wins with Callaway

This cavity back design delivers a friendly shape behind the ball, to give you confidence, while still offering playability around the greens. You’re going to get excellent feel, as well as plenty of spin from these cavity back wedges.

There’s a larger head size than normal, with grooves across the face that will inspire confidence at address. On the sole, a pre-worn leading-edge acts like a skid plate to avoid digging. That, paired with higher bounce, will provide even more forgiveness.

Callaway CB wedge grooves

The Callaway CB is the first wedge to feature Callaway’s Urethane Microspheres. These are placed behind the striking area of the face to give an enhanced sound and feel to the wedge.

Like Callaway’s Jaws wedges, the CB range will feature Jaws Grooves, giving massive levels of spin for shots coming into the green. These grooves have been treated with a face blast to enhance surface roughness, helping to give aggressive spin levels. Crucially, these grooves cover the full face of the wedge on clubs from 54° and more, so you’ll get spin no matter where you strike the ball.

Another thing to note with these wedges is that they feature a special Golf Pride grip that is longer than standard. This grip allows players to choke down further on the club, providing better distance control.

Pre-sale will begin for these wedges from June 30 2023. They’ll be available to buy from retail on July 7, 2023.

The Callaway CB wedges will be available with lofts of 48°, 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58° and 60°.
