Under Armour | 2016 shoes

It has officially happened. Under Armour has taken its first steps into the shoe market with three top class designs.

World No.1 Jordan Spieth has been wearing Under Armour shoe designs on tour for the last year and you’ll be able to follow in his footsteps when the new Drive One shoes are released alongside the Tempo Tour and Tempo Hybrid designs.
Under Armour Drive One

Under Armour Drive One – £ 130 (available May)

Built for ‘major power’, the Drive One brings together stability, a precise fit, cushioning, breathability and flexibility to create an all-round performance shoe.

The stability comes from the carbon heel, which keeps your foot ‘locked in’ position, while the removable, dual-density sockliner forms to the shape of your foot to ensure a good fit.

Cushioning and comfort is found in the Micro G foam, while the lightweight microfiber upper keeps you cool, dry and comfortable on the course.

Under Armour Tempo Hybrid

Under Armour Tempo Hybrid – £120 (available April 4)

The only spikeless model out of the three new releases, the Tempo Hybrid is all about comfort and performance.

The comfort and cushioning makes them perfect for on and off the golf course. Like in the Drive One shoes, there’s a moulded sockliner that supports your foot for a great fit.

The zero-pressure traction is found on the sole as strategically placed rubber traction pods that grip the surface without digging into your feet.

Under Armour Tempo Tour

Under Armour Tempo Tour – £160 (available April 4)

Like the Drive One and Tempo Hybrid, this shoe has the moulded sockliner, waterproof breathability and cushioning.

Where it differs from the others is in the anti-roll support on the sole. Made from TPU, it stabilises your footwork throughout the swing to ensure you stay in control.
