Do you struggle with gripping the golf club the same way from one swing to the next? If so, the new Golf Pride Align Max is what you need.
The grip is such a fundamental part of the golf swing. If it’s not great then chances are you’re not going to hit the best shots. However, what if I told you there was a way to help fix that problem?
Golf Pride has built on the success of its ingenious Align Technology by releasing a new second generation design called the Align Max.
This new grip takes technology that has been around since 2017 and elevates it to the next level.
The new Align Max design offers an option which could prove to be very popular for a number of reasons.
The ridge on the grip is 25% higher than the original Align grip to achieve the maximum desired feel and consistency. It also includes a longer ridge that runs from top-to-bottom, providing players with the flexibility to adjust their hand placement for any shot.
The benefits are huge. For example, it delivers consistency in your grip, promoting consistent hand placement and alignment.
It allows you understand where the clubface is throughout the swing, promoting a square clubface that packs consistency.
You’ll also gain more confidence with a repeatable grip for a repeatable and consistent swing.
This will be available in MCC and MCC Plus4 grip models in both standard and midsize.
I was introduced to this grip by former DP World Tour winner Robert Rock on a recent visit to Abu Dhabi and believe me – it’s awesome.
As someone who has quite a strong left hand, I’m sometimes unsure where my right hand should be. But with this new grip (and a few pointers from Rob) I had a great reference point for where my hands should be. This gave me more confidence to know where the clubface is and hit straighter shots. It almost feels like cheating even though it’s absolutely, categorically not.
The biggest compliment I can give this new grip? The fact it’s already on my driver.
