Golf Pride unveils exciting new James Bond collab

The name’s Pride. Golf Pride.

The No.1 grip in golf has collaborated with EON Productions to create a limited-edition James Bond grip kit.

Created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger – the third instalment in the 007 film franchise – the kit includes 14 custom grips and a specially crafted gold bar collector display.

The tuxedo inspired grip is designed to represent the best of Bond, paying tribute to the character’s impeccable style and refinement over the last six decades.

A ‘007’ embossed surface pattern with lapels from the Goldfinger era merges seamlessly with a diamond quilted design, evoking the white dress shirt of a modern secret agent.

A black grosgrain bow tie and gold accents complete the look, with a golden gun barrel motif on the butt of the grip for added effect.

Goldfinger, as Bond aficionados will know, features one of the most iconic golf scenes ever produced. It sees Sean Connery’s 007 taking on arch-nemesis Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) over 18 holes, wagering a bar of recovered Nazi gold supplied to him by the Bank of England.

Goldfinger attempts to cheat, but Bond famously tricks him into losing the match.

This new kit represents the latest foray into limited-edition collaborations for Golf Pride following its tie-in with NBA star Steph Curry earlier this year.

“While we’re a performance equipment brand at heart, and this grip certainly carries the innovative and high-quality hallmarks of Golf Pride, we really wanted to have fun with this one,” explained Golf Pride president James Ledford.
