The 2023 Wilson Dynapower drivers were good, but how do they compare to the new 2025 Wilson Dynapwr? Let's see how they stack up against each other by putting them head to head.

The 2025 range from Wilson has certainly been well received. While the 2023 range was strong, it looks like there has been big gains in many departments. So, how do they compare to each other?

Well, don't worry, we put them head to head to show you the differences.

Wilson Dynapwr 2025 driver
Perfect for golfers looking for a driver that performs just as good as it looks, sounds and feels

PROS

  • Better aerodynamics for faster club speeds
  • New PKR-360 face delivers great feel, sound and forgiveness
  • Adjustibility in the sole and hosel to optimise flight, forgiveness and speed
  • Three head designs including a new LS model for faster swing speeds

CONS

  • Hard to fault. Wilson have come to play this year.
Available for £480 from Wilson

We’ve got three head shapes in the Dynapwr driver range from Wilson. There’s the new LS model, the Carbon and the Max. From an aesthetics point of view, they look very clean with a gloss carbon crown finish.
Not only do the Wilson drivers look premium, but they perform just as nicely as they look. The ball speeds are great from the PKR-360 Face, especially on those mishits. The acoustics are also a big thing Wilson focused on, so it's no surprise this driver sounds and feels so solid.
The LS, which is a new addition to the range from Wilson, is really low spinning which is great for high swing speed players. If you want to change the spin and launch you have adjustability in the sole and hosel to do so.
The Dynapwr Carbon was a standout in testing for us, with it having the adjustability on the sole and also good levels of forgiveness. It’s very easy to hit, and you can have it set to more forgiving or push the weight forward for faster ball speeds. In our Big Drivers Test of 2025, this came out on top for our Performance Editor, who found it to be really straight and forgiving.
The Max was impressive, especially if you want to have the most forgiveness in your driver. The all titanium head is a draw bias driver for those of you who naturally hit it left-to-right.

The 2023 driver range from Wilson certainly proved popular

PROS

  • A clean looking driver that inspires confidence
  • A pleasing and solid feel from the face
  • Ball speeds that will compete with the big boys in the market
  • Adjustable hosle to dial in flight

CONS

  • Only two heads to pick from
  • 2025 range is a big upgrade
Available for £420 from Wilson

Wilson came to play with the Dynapower range, releasing the Dynapower Carbon and the Dynapower Titanium drivers. The Dynapower Carbon was aimed at golfers looking for low spin and all round performance, while the Titanium was perfect for those who wanted a draw bias driver with plenty of forgiveness.

These drivers were designed with the help of AI, which helped designers make the face the optimal thickness on each section of the club. This gives you great speed and forgiveness across the face and at a budget, which is a big plus, particularly as these will be available for even better value now.
The Carbon delivers the best of both worlds with distance and forgiveness, and the Max is the all titanium draw bias model for the golfers that cut and slice the ball.

A club that features a clean matte finish in both models, these drivers will appeal to golfers of all abilities that are price-conscious, while still looking for great performance.

Conclusion

I loved the Dynapower when it first came out in 2023. The speed and distances were really good and the overall performance was very impressive, especially for the price point.

Wilson, however, have taken it up another gear with the new 2025 Dynapwr drivers. The looks are clean and modern with carbon gloss finishes, updated face designs, improved acoustics and the performance to keep up with the best and solidify themselves as one of the top brands.

Wilson have gone from strength to strength and what they have created and done with their new Dynapwr drivers is the not going to surprise anyone going forward as this is the new norm for Wilson. The new Wilson drivers are definitely going to be a contender for going in the bag for a lot of golfers this year.
