Mackenzie Hughes is a long established member of the PGA Tour, having played on the circuit for a decade, winning twice in the process. But what clubs does the Canadian star use?

The man from Ontario is a Ping ambassador, and has been since his early days on the PGA Tour. Those clubs have helped him to win twice and crack the top 40 in the world. Those performances have also helped him to make his debut on the Presidents Cup team in 2024.

The home favourite will go into the week hoping to contribute to his International Team’s cause. Along with Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith, a strong home contingent bolsters the side.

• Mackenzie Hughes: These two things are key in practice rounds

Hughes will hope that his full bag of Ping gear helps him on the course, and that starts with three of the G430 woods. Hughes is one of many players on the PGA Tour who has a 7-wood in the bag, something which will help him attack par-5s in two.

He’s also got a split set of irons, with some classic S55 short irons in the bag. These have been on the go for around a decade now, but they don’t look to be moving from his bag soon.

The best part of Hughes’ game is undoubtedly around the greens. He ranks third in Strokes Gained: Around the green, and fifth in Strokes Gained: Putting. His equipment in these two departments are rather contrasting, as he has Ping’s newest wedges, but a putter that was launched back in the early 2010s.

Here’s the full rundown on Mackenzie Hughes witb.
