Most Comfortable Golf Shoes of 2024

First up in our alphabetical list is a big player in the footwear industry, Adidas. In 2024, they’ve released a new edition of their popular Codechaos line, and it’s extremely comfortable.  
The first thing you’ll notice about these shoes is the looks of them. While the knitted look on top and the vibrant coloured outsole might not be for everyone, we think they look great and very sporty. That knitted look also helps to make these a very lightweight option. Where these shoes do come into their own is the comfort aspect. These come with a hybrid midsole from Adidas which incorporates Boost and Lightstrike technology, which combines to give comfort and stability on the course. Boost focuses on energy return for comfort, while Lightstrike is all about cradling the foot for stability.  
The looks of this shoe won’t be for everyone – we love the looks – but there’s no denying they are seriously comfortable.  

Next up, it’s a spikeless and great looking option from Duca del Cosma. Made from high quality Italian leather, this shoe is very well put together and provides great stability and comfort on the course.  
We really think this is one of the best golf shoes you can get for the summer months on the golf course. The Positano looks great and with the well thought out spikeless sole, it allows for solid stability on the course too. Of course, it’s supremely comfortable too. The ultra-lightweight EVA outsole makes these comfortable straight from the box. Your feet really won’t get heavy wearing these, no matter how many holes you want to walk.  
Overall, a very fashion forward option from Duca del Cosma, that doesn’t sacrifice any comfort for its good looks. 

You’ll struggle to find a more complete spikeless golf shoe than the Ecco LT1. It’s got stability, durability and, most importantly for this list, it’s very comfortable.  
That comfort largely comes from the Ecco LYTR Technology, a groundbreaking new innovation that enhances the comfort in these shoes. This technology combines Ecco’s Fluidform technology with the LYTR Foam, which makes for a cloud like sensation for golfers. Comfort is at the heart of the design for this shoe, but it also features brilliant stability for when you’re hitting shots.  
An excellent golf shoe from Ecco, which should be no surprise to anyone who has worn any of their products before. Looks great, but most importantly, is comfortable on the course.  

This is FootJoy’s most comfortable golf shoe, making it really tough to beat in this market. The Quantum is made with cloud like comfort in mind, so you can be sure your feet are going to be fresh, no matter how many holes you play in them.  
When you put these on your feet, you’ll immediately recognise how soft they are underfoot. While other FootJoy shoes are made with stability in mind, these are built purely for comfort. The SofFOAM technology really does cushion and support your whole foot. The Ortholite Impressions FitBed provides immediate step-in comfort, moulding over time to create a comfortable fit, perfect for the individual golfer.  
It really is hard to overstate how comfortable the FootJoy Quantum golf shoes are. Absolutely one of the most comfortable golf shoes of 2024. 

Another entry to the list from FootJoy is the FootJoy Pro/SLX Carbon golf shoes. These are designed with other things in mind rather than just comfort, but really do hit the spot for long days on the golf course.  
The Pro SLX range has undergone something of a renovation in 2024, with a new design hitting the shelves. That was quite a risk for the FootJoy team, but it’s certainly paid off. The new range features a Race Track outsole, which provides solid stability, but the comfort really comes from the StratoFoam Midsole, which helps to absorb shock and reduce walking fatique on the course. Also, the carbon model features a reinforced heel, which makes these very robust, without being stiff.  
Certainly one of the best golf shoes of 2024, which excels in levels of comfort. 

One of the best looking golf shoes on the market, and also one that goes to great lengths to be comfortable. The Gallivan2r from G/Fore features an insole that massages your foot as you walk, making this different from any other brand.  
As soon as your feet enter these, you’ll understand why G/Fore put this insole in their golf shoes. The cushioned interior of these shoes is designed to massage your foot throughout the round, and they really are a joy to wear. Despite looking like more traditional golf shoes, the Gallivan2r shoes are lightweight, meaning your feet won’t get tired as you play.  
A stunning looking pair of shoes, that are available in spiked or non-spiked models, the Gallivan2r shoes are very comfortable and stable on the course.

Puma are one of the leaders when it comes to shoes for any sport and that is certainly the case with golf too. If we had to pick one standout when it comes to comfort on the course, it would be the GS-Efekt.  
These golf shoes really do look like trainers, something which is going to appeal to a wide range of golfers. That trainer like look also translates to trainer like comfort, which we get from these. These feature ProFoam, a lightweight EVA that cushions every step you take on the course. Also, the heel on these is very supportive, making for a stable experience underfoot.  
These are ideal for those summer rounds where you don’t want to change your shoes after playing. You won’t feel out of place wearing these on the course or in the clubhouse. 

If you’re looking for an affordable option that guarantees comfort, then you could do a lot worse than the Stuburt Ace Casual shoes. These retail for less than £80 but provide great comfort.  
The Stuburt Ace Casual shoes are spikeless, but thanks to their dual outsole, they provide solid traction and can certainly be worn on and off the course. These shoes certainly provide comfort on your feet, which is largely thanks to the sock-fit system, which sits inside the sole to make these soft on the feet.  
The clue is in the name in these shoes, that they are casual. But, they are certainly worthy of their inclusion as being one of the more comfortable golf shoes you can buy in 2024.

These are the shoes that my colleague James Tait wears on the golf course, and when he’s competing in World Long Drive competitions, so that’s a pretty healthy endorsement. 
Not only do these help him to hit the ball further, but they are also very stable and comfortable. If you’ve worn Under Armour golf shoes before, you’ll know how nicely they hug your feet, to keep you locked in on your shot. That stability can really help you to play better golf, but it also means your feet don’t suffer on the course. Jordan Spieth was key in making these shoes perform the way they do, and you can see that. Jordan wouldn’t wear shoes that weren’t comfortable and neither will you if you wear these.  
Another golf shoe that is one of the best overall in 2024, and it certainly doesn’t lack in comfort either.
