Motocaddy has broken new ground with its most recent product launch – the innovative S7 remote trolley.

The first-ever remote control model produced by the market-leading electric golf trolley brand, Motocaddy says it boasts ‘one of the most sophisticated guidance systems on the powered trolley market’ with its dual pressure control that allows you to alter how much the trolley turns to the left or right, simply by varying the pressure applied to the buttons on the handset.

As well as the dual-pressure directional buttons, you can also control the trolley’s speed going forwards or backwards depending on how long they hold the respective buttons down on the remote control device.

“The S7 is a distinctly different product for those golfers looking for a reliable hands-free option” – David Wells

The S7 Remote features the same frame design as the award-winning S-Series range and has a special mechanism that enables each of the two motors to help compensate for lateral slopes.

It also features a rear anti-tip wheel, as well as a fully-rotating front wheel to allow the trolley to travel smoothly without requiring additional guidance. A 50-metre cut-out function stops the trolley from going out of range, while a hibernation setting brings it to a halt if the remote hasn’t been touched for more than 45 seconds.

The S7 Remote also possesses two standout features from the 2014 range, namely QUIKFOLD and EASILOCK. QUIKFOLD allows you to fold or unfold the trolley in as little as five seconds thanks to a simple sliding catch; while the EASILOCK bag-to-trolley connection system removes the need for a lower bag strap, thanks to two holes on the S7’s bag support aligned with two removable locking pins on the base of any of the latest Motocaddy bags

“The S7 has been in development for some time because the technology involved, particularly in the remote handset, is up there with the most intelligent devices of its kind,” said Motocaddy chairman David Wells.

“We’ve responded to consumer demand for a remote control option in our range and the S7 is a distinctly different product for those golfers looking for a reliable hands-free option.”

Motocaddy S7 remote pricing and availability

The new S7 Remote trolley has an RRP of £799.99 and comes with a Motocaddy 20ah Lithium battery suitable for 18 holes on a dual-motored and will be available in black and alpine colour options.
