She’s a superstar of the LPGA Tour, but how far does Nelly Korda hit each club?

The American has had an incredible time on tour in 2024. Earlier in the year, Korda won five straight times, in a run that included six wins in seven starts. In that run, there was also her second major championship win, the Chevron Championship.

In the summer of 2024, Korda’s win total sits at 14 LPGA Tour wins, an impressive total at just 26-years-old.

Recently, Korda has switched to using TaylorMade equipment, something which has clearly worked well for her.

At the top of the bag, she has a TaylorMade Qi10 Max. What is interesting about this club is that it is designed for players who want a super forgiving driver that helps to eliminate a slice. Korda certainly isn’t a player who struggles with a slice, but she says it helps her to hit the right-to-left ball flight she likes to see off the tee.

Korda is also one of several players on tour to use a 7-wood. The high lofted fairway wood is becoming something of a phenomenon for tour pros and it’s no wonder. They are easy to hit and when Korda is playing in the USA where she’ll need a high ball flight, it’s a great option in the bag.

But, how far does she hit each of these clubs, as well as the rest of her set?

Well, thanks to TaylorMade, we know Nelly Korda’s stock yardages. Note, these are carry distances, so her longer clubs are likely to go slightly further after they bounce on the fairway.

Nelly Korda Stock Yardages

TaylorMade Qi10 Max Driver: 252 yards

TaylorMade Stealth 2 3-wood: 232 yards

TaylorMade Stealth 2 7-wood: 218 yards

Ping G425 5-hybrid: 200 yards

TaylorMade P770 5-iron: 185 yards

TaylorMade P770 6-iron: 169 yards

TaylorMade P770 7-iron: 154 yards

TaylorMade P770 8-iron: 144 yards

TaylorMade P770 9-iron: 135 yards

TaylorMade P770 Pitching Wedge: 124 yards

TaylorMade MG4 50-degree wedge: 115 yards

TaylorMade MG4 54-degree wedge: 100 yards

TaylorMade MG4 60-degree wedge: 83 yards

As you can see, Korda gradually increases distance throughout the set, with around 15 yards between each club. Her driver averages 252 yards of carry, but when you include roll, her average drive on the LPGA Tour is 267 yards. That puts her in the top 30 for driving distance on the American circuit.

When it comes to the other end of the bag, Korda’s distances might not impress you too much, but it’s all about accuracy with her scoring clubs. On average, she hits 74% of greens in regulation each round, a seriously impressive stat that is key to her low scoring.

How do you compare to Korda’s stock yardages? You might find you’re not too far away from her when it comes to distance. But, consider that her scoring average is under 70, and you’ll see how impressive her game is.
