It’s a big week for Titleist staffers on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, as a new range of T-Series irons are ready for testing.
Shortly after the conclusion of the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, the brand announced that the new line-up of irons would be making their debuts at the Charles Schwab Challenge on the PGA Tour and the Soudal Open on the DP World Tour.
It’s part of the all-important tour seeding and validation process for Titleist irons, where players will put the clubs to the ultimate test after years of design work.
Over the next three practice days in both Texas and Belgium, Titleist tour reps will be working with players to test the new T100, T150, T200 and T350 models.

As well as that, new T250U and U505 utility irons will offer golfers clubs that can fit between their standard set of irons and their fairway woods.
“It’s years of research, player feedback, player testing,” said JJ Van Wezenbeeck, Titleist’s Senior Director of Club Promotions.
“To bring the product out, see it tested on the golf course during a tournament week and prove itself – it’s super exciting to see all that finally come to fruition.”
Titleist T Series irons – models explained
While there’s no details on the tech innovation hidden away inside these irons, we’re expecting a similar technology story to what has gone before in the super successful T-Series line.
More players on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour have chosen to play Titleist irons than any other brand in every season for over a decade. Things aren’t broken, so why fix them?
The 2025 range features the same naming convention as the 2023 line. The T100 irons have, in the past, been the modern tour iron. These have been built with the better player in mind, with an enhanced feel and refined construction at the heart of the design.

Then, the T150 irons have worked well as the faster tour irons. These exhibit the player’s performance and feel of the T100 irons, but forged into a more confidence inspiring shape.
The 2023 T200 irons are a tour-proven players’ distance iron. These feature a hollow body construction but with a forged face, to give incredible launch and forgiveness, but in a player friendly profile.
Finally, T350 irons, in previous iterations, have focused on being the ultimate game improvement iron. A hollow body construction helps players to achieve maximum launch, distance and forgiveness with their iron shots.

While there’s been no official confirmation on technology or release date in the new range of Titleist irons yet, we’re expecting improvements, rather than a complete overhaul in the tech behind them. But, for all the details on that, we’ll need to wait and see.
Also hitting the tours this week are two new Titleist utility irons.
The Titleist U505 iron is a familiar name and in the past, it has catered to those looking for a high and explosive launch from a utility iron.
Then, there’s a slightly different approach in the new T250U iron. In the past, Titleist offered a T200 utility iron, which catered for better players looking for added speed and forgiveness at the top of the bag.

We’re expecting similar things from the T250U, but with perhaps more forgiveness, if the standard Titleist naming convention is to be followed.
For all the details, be sure to check back soon when the new Titleist irons are officially launched.
