Nick Dunlap WITB: November 2024

Nick Dunlap only recently turned pro, but he’s already making big waves in the paid ranks. But, what clubs does the young American star use?

Nick Dunlap made history in January of 2024, when he won the American Express as an amateur. That made him the first amateur golfer to win on the PGA Tour since Phil Mickelson won the Tucson Open in 1991.

Unsurprisingly, he turned pro soon after, and following a difficult spell, picked up his second PGA Tour win, this time at the Barracuda Championship.

That made him the first player to win on the PGA Tour as an amateur and a professional in the same year. Quite the feat.

So, what clubs does the up-and-coming star use? Dunlap uses a fairly mixed bag of equipment, with brands such as Ping, TaylorMade and Odyssey making up his gear.

At the top of the bag, Dunlap uses a popular model, with the G430 LST driver in his set. That’s a club that was in the bag when he won the US Amateur, so it’s no surprise that it’s remained in the set.

At the other end of his set-up, Dunlap has an Odyssey putter that is pretty eye-catching. It’s an Odyssey O-Works No.7 Tank, that has plenty of lead tape on the bottom of it. The Tank model is designed to be heavier, and give more stability on the greens, and clearly it works for Dunlap.
