Zero torque putters are the hot topic of the golf equipment world at the moment, and PXG is the latest brand to add to that market with their Bat Attack ZT putter.

It’s the American brand’s second zero torque offering, following on from their Allan putter, which was released back in 2024.

Now, the brand has launched the Bat Attack ZT, a putter which features the same zero torque innovation as the Allan, but with a classic shape that many golfers will be familiar with.

The putter combines the s-hosel design of the Allan putter, with a player-preferred profile that golfers enjoy from PXG.

“With the Bat Attack ZT, we’ve taken one of our most iconic putter designs and made it better than ever,” said Bob Parsons, PXG founder and CEO. “This flatstick delivers all the stability and control you need—without compromising on feel or feedback. If you’re serious about sinking more putts, this is the putter to beat.”

So, how does the PXG Bat Attack ZT help you make more putts? Here’s some of the key tech points that have gone into this putter.

S-hosel construction

As we’ve seen in the PXG Allan putter, the S-hosel construction helps to position the shaft axis just above the centre of gravity. This eliminates torque that would have otherwise been created in the putting stroke. A traditional putter hosel will create some torque, while this is designed to keep the putter face square to the path you’re swinging on. The S-hosel comes with two degrees of forward press, which naturally places the golfer’s hands in the optimal position at address, encouraging a smoother and more consistent stroke.

Hollow body construction

Inside the putter, there’s a hollow body construction that aims to dramatically increase the moment of inertia created. A 303 stainless steel construction, injected with PXG’s proprietary S COR Polymer, allows the internal mass of the putter to be redistributed to the extreme perimeter of the clubhead.

Ultra-thin putter face

This putter also features an ultra-thin face, which minimises vibrations and creates a refined, insert-like sound on contact, without sacrificing the crisp feel of a milled putter.

As well as this, the Pyramid Face Pattern further enhances the roll characteristics of the club. There is aggressive milling and optimised pyramid density, which interacts with the golf ball’s dimples to produce true and consistent roll and a satisfying sound at impact, which helps golfers to dial in their distances.
