PXG has launched two new special edition blade putters that are sure to stand out on the putting green, in the form of the Tour Series Brandon and Brandon II.
While you might have seen these shapes from the distinctly American brand before, you’ll notice some key differences in design in these putters.
Notably, on the sole of these putters, you’ll find PXG’s Dancing Darkness Insignia design, which adds massively adds to the appeal of these putters. These are unmistakably PXG, with the brand’s skull logo brandished across the sole of them.
As you would expect, these putters feature the kind of tech we’ve become accustomed to from PXG. These are crafted from 100% milled 303 stainless steel, which is an important point. That creates an exceptional feel on the putting green, so they’re ideal for golfers who want something with great feedback.
These also come with two adjustable sole weights, allowing golfers to dial these putters into the feel they want.
Away from the face itself, the plumber’s neck hosel is specifically designed to create a mid-toe hang angle, meaning it’s designed for players who exhibit moderate face rotation during their putting stroke.
PXG say that these putters cater to two specific groups of golfers. Firstly, there’s the low handicap players who seek exceptional feedback and enhanced consistency on the greens. Then, there’s the traditionalists who appreciate minimalist designs in their clubs, and want something that is simply going to look the part.
“These new putters are absolutely beautiful and a formidable ally on any green in the hands of the right golfer,” PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons said.
As you might expect, these putters don’t come cheap. At just under £500, they’re a big investment, but if you’re a PXG fan, they might just be for you.
