The Seve Ballesteros Foundation launches SEVE, the new golf apparel collection in honour of the great Seve Ballesteros.

The new SEVE brand focuses on Seve’s legacy by inspiring golfers to be more daring and charismatic both on and off the course, where your outfit often defines you. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Seve Ballesteros’ 1984 Open triumph, so it’s the perfect time to launch this collection.

The First Look

The aim of the first collection is to encourage golfers to step out of their comfort zones and to embody the Seve ethos when facing challenges on the golf course or simply harnessing the iconic Seve style of dressing. Take a look for yourself.

The Tech

The first collection, made in cotton, cashmere and four-way stretch technical fabrics, is packed with essentials including trousers, shorts, polos, knitted sweaters, caps, and visors, available in five colourways. The debut will also feature collaborations such as a limited edition Slazenger cashmere sweater inspired by Seve’s iconic ’84 Open win outfit, Sunderland rainwear and a headwear partnership with Imperial.

“Our father was not only one of the greatest golfers of all time, but renowned for his unparalleled fashion sense and unique style. The SEVE brand and debut collection embody everything that he was: bold, daring, brave, and unafraid to rally against the status quo. We are so excited for golfers all over Europe to be able to emulate his style and collection.” said Carmen, Javier, and Miguel Ballesteros.

The bunkered Verdict

We love what we see. It’s very classic and in keeping with Seve’s iconic style and dress sense.

The Seve team has created a classic look that stays relevant for today’s golfers whilst maintaining that iconic Seve look. Everything in the collection is designed to mix and match, which is great for those who like to switch it up.

The collection is available for purchase from July 22 via sevecollection.com and through leading golf retailers across the UK and Europe.  We cant wait to try the range out for ourselves so stay tuned for more.
