Travis Mathew Ringer 2 golf shoe review

We all want comfort, support and great traction when we are playing golf and the Travis Mathew Ringer 2 golf shoe can deliver all of that and more.

This is a shoe which will tick a lot of boxes for a lot of golfers. It’s the perfect combination of style and performance and is worn by tour professionals such as Jon Rahm and Sam Burns.

That in itself is a ringing endorsement, but what did we think of them? Let’s take a closer look at the Travis Mathew Ringer 2 golf shoes.

The First Look

At first glance, this Travis Mathew Ringer 2 golf shoe has a trainer like shape to it which, automatically, to the eye screams comfort.

It’s not too loud in terms of colour or design, but it does have a more premium and subtle style to it.

The sole of this shoe has seven strategically placed spikes, to provide grip and traction. This is certainly a good looking shoe that will also perform well on the course.

The Tech

This pair of golf shoes has an athletic style and the performance goes hand in hand with that.

The Ringer 2 is equipped with the SweetSpot Cushioning System, to make sure you get ultimate support, breathability, and moisture management in this waterproof design. When walking the course the comfort is a stand out. The SweetSpot Cushioning System delivers lightweight, all day comfort with layers of cushioning and support which just feel awesome from tee to green and back the clubhouse.

Now if it’s hot or you have warmer feet, the air-mesh lining allows your feet to breathe for better breathability whicking away any moisture. You want to have the best stability and the Softspikes Tour Flex Pro has three degrees of traction and ten points of contact for stability throughout your swing.

The bunkered Verdict

The Travis Mathew Ringer 2 golf shoes are brilliant.

They are waterproof which was brilliant when I tested them as it was very wet that day and my feet were bone dry at the end of the round. They are soft and comfortable, while also being supportive which leaves your feet feeling fresh and not fatigued at the end of the round.

The combination of the comfort and stability is great as you have the strategically placed traction on the soles delivering great grip from the tee box and those greenside chips.

This is a fantastic golf shoe, which really does deliver incredible comfort, impressive performance and represents great value for what is a premium golf shoe.
