Rory McIlroy has joined Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods in the history books as he won his third major title at the age of just 25 with victory in the 143rd Open Championship.


Nicklaus and Woods are the only other players in the history of the game to have won three of golf’s big four tournaments by the age of 25.
