The new Shot Scope G6 watch features full hole maps, designed to give you a bird’s eye view of what lies ahead.
Shot Scope, the industry leader and innovator in the golf GPS sector with rangefinders, and shot tracking technology, has introduced a brand-new watch to their already impressive line-up. The Scottish-based brand has unveiled the G6 – a GPS watch that allows for personalisation and provides golfers with the latest technology, including full hole maps.
Shot Scope G6 – Brand-new feature
The place to start with this watch is a brand-new, strong feature of the G6, previously only available in Shot Scope’s performance tracking watches. That is full hole maps. Golfers will now be able to see an overhead view of each hole, making navigating their way around new courses and blind holes easier than ever.
“Our newest watch is designed for golfers who want simplicity on the course with no set up required. With the addition of the hole maps and a large display, the G6 is one of the best entry-level golf GPS watches on the market.” – David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope.
Personalisation
The G6 is the latest addition to the popular easy-to-use G Series. With a choice of 12 interchangeable coloured strap options, a range of clock face designs, and colour themes to choose from, golfers can tailor their watch to their style and preference.

Choose the perfect club
G6 comes preloaded with 36,000 courses worldwide which are maintained by Shot Scope’s in-house mapping team ensuring hole maps are highly accurate. The watch also gives golfers distances to the front, middle, and back of greens as well as to hazards, doglegs, and layup points – making course management and club selection easy.
Track your score
In addition to navigation features, the G6 includes a built-in scorecard, allowing golfers to record their score during the round. G6’s large digit display mode gives golfers an exact distance to the centre of the green on the easy to view daylight readable colour screen. At only 42 grams it is lightweight and does not impact the golfer’s swing, making it a seamless addition to a player’s game.
The bunkered verdict
The new Shot Scope G6 GPS watch is designed to make golf easier and that can only be a good thing. The G6 requires no set-up prior to playing, which is amazing. All you need to do is simply unbox the watch and head out to the course.

It’s a great price and if you’re looking for GPS watch that gives you all the hole information and yardages this will be a great option.
Of course, we’re going to get this out on the course soon, so we can give you the full lowdown on how it performs.
