Shot Scope PRO LX+ Review

Have you ever wanted a rangefinder that does everything, and I mean everything?

What if I told you the Shot Scope PRO LX+ does, and also has a GPS device so you can track every shot you hit? 

The new Shot Scope PRO LX+ has arrived with a new and improved design that is superb. 

I’ve used the Shot Scope X5 quite a lot this year, and I’m a big fan of the dynamic yardages and features that it has, especially the shot tracking ability to get your stats. 

Now, if you saw that and thought, ‘I like the sound of that, but I don’t like wearing a watch when I play’, you’re in luck.

The Shot Scope PRO LX+ is compact, feels great in your hand, and is super easy to use.

When you’re shooting for a yardage, it’s super-fast, and with target lock, it vibrates once it has picked up the flag.

There are two modes when using the laser; the target lock and the scan option, which disables the target lock to continually scan for distances.

One thing that stood out for me is the dual optics.

Firstly, it’s 7x zoom magnification. You can change the colour to red or black, which is a nice touch as the red optics can be useful in darker conditions.

The slope setting is great; it delivers accurate distance on the incline and decline gradients, making sure you have the right number, and you also have the addition of the cart magnet, which is super strong, so you’ll always know where it is.

The GPS is the H4, which sits at the back of the laser and is magnetic, so you can take the H4 in and out to charge or use the clip, which attaches to your belt.

This delivers all the dynamic yardages to the front, middle, and back and the distances to all hazards.

And what I really like about this is when you put the sensors in the top of your grips, you can tap it against the screen, and it vibrates, letting you know it’s picked up the club. 

Then, once you’ve finished your round, you can look at over 100 stats, including strokes gained, and look back at the holes you’ve played with shots plotted and relive your best shots of the round. 

Lastly, there are no paid subscriptions; you just need to download the app, create an account, and sync your device with it.
