Sungjae Im is the top ranked male golfer from the Republic of Korea. But, what clubs does the PGA Tour star use?

Im has won twice on the PGA Tour, most recently in 2021. However, since then, Im has been one of the most consistent performers on the circuit. He’s earned over $25million dollars in his time on tour and has made it inside the top 20 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

When it comes to equipment, Im is very much a creature of habit. While he does use 14 Titleist clubs, he’s not using the latest kit at the top of his bag.

In fact, Im’s Titleist TSi2 driver is several generations out of date, while his Titleist TS3 is also outdated.

Im’s irons are also several years old. His Titleist T100 irons, which he has from a 3-iron to 9-iron, date back to 2019.

Clearly, then, he feels more comfortable using this kit, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. It clearly works for him out on the course, and it’s a lesson in how using kit that fits your eye is the way to go.

Im’s putter is an interesting and impressive looking club. The centre shafted Scotty Cameron F-5 Tourtype is a stunning club, and one that has been in his bag for a long time.
