TaylorMade has launched a new line of their Qi35 drivers, with the Designer Series giving golfers the chance to add some colour and some precious metals to their bags.

The addition to the TaylorMade line was revealed earlier this week, with both a Matte Gold and Matte Platinum option hitting the shelves.

It’s fair to say that these drivers feature striking looks, which have come from the minds of TaylorMade’s most creative designers.

• TaylorMade Spider ZT makes zero torque simple

• Collin Morikawa is using a club that 18 handicappers would usually play

TaylorMade say these bring an allure of exclusivity with an elusive, modern finish and subtle accents throughout the design.

These two new additions join the Designer Series Black heads, which brought a sleek and muted design to the clubs.

The Matte Gold and Matte Platinum, however, are as far removed from being muted as possible. While we’ve seen red and blue faces from the equipment giants in the past, gold and platinum is a new look.

The TaylorMade Qi35 Designer Series is available in the UK in the standard Qi35 line, as well as the Qi35 Max line.

These drivers carry the same excellent technology that we find in the regular Qi35 range, which is a huge positive for golfers looking to get the most out of their driver.

The TaylorMade Qi35 range is made to give golfers the best combination of distance and forgiveness. That’s achieved through a low centre of gravity and a high moment of inertia level.

A multi-material construction is also found in these drivers, with chromium carbon, steel, aluminium, tungsten and titanium combining to give exceptional performance off the tee.
