When it comes to putters that are easy on the eye, TaylorMade are hard to beat.

Whether it’s the TP Reserve range, the Spider Tour putters, or the recent addition of Logan Olson’s batch putters to their line-up, they can certainly produce a good looking flatstick.

But, could their latest release claim top spot in the looks debate?

Say hello to the TaylorMade Spider Tour Series Black, the latest in the line of the hugely successful Spider Tour line.

This line features three of the best from the Spider Tour range. While there’s nothing new in the technology department from these, we do get a stunning colourway. Of course, that could make all the difference in the hands of someone who wants something new on the greens.

The Black PVD finish is accompanied by a copper sole plate and back badge, which helps these putters look absolutely stunning.

Here’s a closer look at the three models which this colour scheme will be available in.

TaylorMade Spider Tour X L-Neck

Only one place to start, and that’s with the putter head shape used by world No.1, Scottie Scheffler. That’s the TaylorMade Spider Tour X L-Neck, which is now available with the black PVD finish and copper accents.

This putter is also equipped with TaylorMade’s True Path Alignment system, which helps the best player in the world, and can help you, to get the ball started on line more often.

This putter has 21 degrees of toe hang, and is available in 34” and 35” length options.

From Scottie Scheffler to Rory McIlroy, this is another putter head shape in the bag of one of the best players in the world.

Once again, this features the trademark True Path Alignment system from TaylorMade, helping you to be more accurate on the greens. A slightly different neck gives this a changed look at address.

This has 30 degrees of toe hang and is available with the same 34″ and 35″ length options.

Finally, it’s the classic TaylorMade Spider Tour that makes up the range of putters available in the Tour Black Series.

This is a larger head shape, again featuring the key technologies we expect from the TaylorMade Spider range, and it certainly suits this stunning colour.

The Spider Tour features 29 degrees of toe hang and is also available in length options of 34″ and 35″.

The Tech

True Path Alignment

TaylorMade’s patented alignment system provides visual clarity and helps golfers to better envision the line to the hole.

White TPU Pure Roll Insert

Made from a combination of Surlyn and aluminium, the white TPU Roll insert creates a softer feel at impact. Optimal forward roll as well as better sound, feel and overall roll are encouraged by grooves at a 45 degree angle.

Thin wall undercut construction

A super stable structure is created by removing excess weight to create high MOI, making these very forgiving.

Hybrar Echo Dampener

Hybrar is behind the face of these putters to dampen unwanted vibrations, delivering premium sound and feel on every putt with the best possible feeling.

TSS Weighting

TSS weights provide balanced weighting and help optimise performance for all putter lengths.

Steel Wireframe

Allows TaylorMade engineers to better control weight distribution and centre of gravity
