Tony Finau is known on the PGA tour for being a big hitter of the golf ball and also a trend setter with his fashion forward outfits, but what clubs does he have in the bag?

The six-time PGA Tour winner bombs it off the tee and is often seen exceeding 180mph ball speed. That’s right up there with some of the fastest on tour, and we’re sure if he wanted to he could hit it even further.

Where he excels, however, is in his approach play to the green. In 2024 on the PGA Tour he sits 2nd in Strokes Gained: Approach, so he’s pretty impressive with an iron in his hands.

What’s in Tony Finau’s bag?

Like a lot of golfers on tour you may see a few older generations of some clubs in the bags and Tony Finau is one of them, especially when it comes to his 3-iron. The Nike Vapor Fly Pro has a bit of a cult following. Brooks Koepka is also a player who has also the same iron in his bag that he will not replace because he likes the performance and what it delivers to his game.

Another thing you ought to know about Tony Finau’s equipment is the size of his grips. If they look larger than standard, that’s because they are. The American puts 13 wraps of tape under his right hand, and 12 under his left. Most players might stick three or four wraps of tape for a bit of extra comfort, but Finau is a special case in this department.

As well as six PGA Tour win’s Finau has appeared in the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, representing Team USA. Let’s take a closer look at all the gear he’s gaming in 2024.
