Matthieu Pavon is making a name for himself on the PGA Tour. The Frenchman is already a winner on the American circuit, after making the step up from the DP World Tour. But what clubs does he have in the bag?
The Farmer’s Insurance Open winner also has a top five in the US Open to his name, after an impressive debut year on the PGA Tour.
Pavon has also drawn attention thanks to his flamboyant playing style, as well as his outspoken nature on the course. The Frenchman’s tattoo, which sits on his right hand, has also been a talking point. That reads as follows…
“The saliva that flows now will become the tears of joy tomorrow.”
Very poetic, but you’re here to learn about his clubs. In 2024, his bag is made up of Ping equipment, with 14 clubs from the brand in play.
That starts with the Ping G430 Max driver. This driver is designed to be the most forgiving club possible and although Pavon won’t miss the middle very often, when he does, he’s still going to get the best results.
At the other end of the bag is something pretty special. Pavon is gaming a custom Ping PLD blade, which certainly looks the part on the greens.
But what about the rest of Pavon’s clubs? Let’s take a closer look.
