Nestled in the Kelvin Valley between the Kilsyth and Campsie Hills near Glasgow, this Dave Thomas and Seve Ballesteros design is a capricious moorland layout.
The outward nine is an enjoyable amble, but don't let that fool you, as the second half is full of pleasant surprises.
The 13th is a hole to watch out for. A long carry over a pond is required, and with wind swirling through the valley you need to be at your very best off the tee.
