Alyth Golf Club is home to two golf courses, with the 18-hole Alyth Course the main attraction.
Set in Perthshire, the course at Alyth is a parkland layout and is one of the best in the area.
At nearly 6,300 yards long, it's certainly no pushover, and with several greens that feature severe slopes, it really does test every aspect of your game.
The opening to the round is a tricky one, with the uphill par-3 third hole a proper test. It is listed around 170 yards on the card, but plays longer than that thanks to the steep incline.
Later in the round, the par-5 16th is the longest on the course and usually plays into the wind. Playing the best part of 550 yards, it requires three good hits to be putting for birdie.
Alyth is also home to a fantastic clubhouse, ideal for stopping in after your round.
